Review Process and Judging Criteria

The review process is taken care of by the committee which, on the submission deadline, receives all the documents submitted by the participants and, following a scheme, fills in the vote for each document giving a score from 1 to 5.

The Judging Criteria used to review candidates, and the respective weighting of each section is as follows:

  • Curriculum vitae (from 1 to 5 that means 1 low – 5 highest): 1 score
  • Reference letters (from 1 to 5 that means 1 low – 5 highest): 1 score
    Two sponsorship letters (1 score for both letters) from distinguished experts in the same field. The letters must be signed by an external expert outside the institution where the work is performed
  • Quality of top five publications (from 1 to 5 that means 1 low – 5 highest): 5 score
  • H-index has been added since last year, and this value makes an average for the final score.: 1 score
    The H-Index is scored 1-10, 10 being the highest for the top ten H-index scores
